Adrian’s breadth of experience in self-authored films for broadcast has helped him become a warm and engaging presenter who’s informed and conversational about wildlife around the world. He’s as comfortable handling scripted documentaries as he is delivering unscripted, off the cuff and in-the-moment observations. Adrian is a curious wildlife filmmaker with an in-depth knowledge of the natural world. It is a mix of these skills that helps him sprinkle his passion on camera. As well as hosting documentaries, he contributes to news shows and panel discussions, commenting on wildlife and conservation related issues.

Adrian won the Best Newcomer Award at the prestigious International Wildlife Film Festival (IWFF) in 2007 for a film he presented called Woolly Jumpers: Made in Peru.

BBC Wildlife Magazine – Review of Gibbons: Back in the Swing on Animal Planet – “Written, filmed, presented, produced and directed by Adrian Cale – who takes multi-tasking to new levels…. Adrian is an engaging presenter and addresses all the issues that lead to misery for the species: deforestation, hunting and the tourist industry.”
